Who should attend NACAC’s National Conference?
Anyone in the counseling and/or admission community who would like to stay up-to-date on industry trends. The conference brings together many secondary and postsecondary college admission counseling professionals to exchange ideas, hear from experts and learn more about the products and services that will enable them to accomplish their goals.

Are any meals included in the in-person registration rate?
There are no full meals included in the in-person conference registration. NACAC provides snacks in the morning and the afternoon in the exhibit hall. There are also light hors d'oeuvres served at the conference welcome reception and conference social.

What is included in my in-person conference registration rate?
In-Person Registration for the National Conference includes all educational sessions and learning lounge sessions, our welcome reception, main stage sessions, first timers’ orientation, access to the exhibit hall, attendee access to the Counselors’ College Fair - exhibitors have to pay for a booth, and a ticket to the Conference Social.

What's included in my virtual conference registration rate?
Virtual Registration for the Conference includes livestream access to multiple educational sessions in each block Thursday - Saturday and the main stage sessions, access to sponsor companies, and additional content will be created specifically for the virtual audience.

Is there a National College Fair (NCF) at the 2022 conference?
Yes, the National College Fair (NCF) will occur on Sunday, September 25 at the George R. Brown Convention Center. A separate registration will open in 2022.

How do I make a hotel reservation?
You must be a registered attendee, paid in full, in order to book housing in the NACAC block. A link to access the housing system will be included in your conference confirmation email. Housing reservations received without corresponding conference registrations will be canceled.

What is the recommended arrival airport?

What is the recommended attire?
Attire at the National Conference is business casual. Wear comfortable shoes. We recommend dressing in layers as air conditioning is difficult to regulate in large facilities. Rooms may be overly warm or cool.

Will childcare be provided?
NACAC does not provide childcare services during the National Conference. Attendees requiring assistance with childcare should contact their hotel concierge.

How do I book meeting or event space during the conference?
Event organizers are required to inform NACAC's conference and meetings staff of the intended date/time of the event at least 30 days prior to the event and prior to booking. No organization is permitted to schedule functions (including transportation to/from the event) that conflicts with NACAC's official and published meeting and event times. NACAC will begin collecting meeting and event requests in early 2022.
